There are two types of switches in mechanical keyboards, standalone Mechanical Keyboard Switches and Stabilizer Axis/Balance Bar.

A mechanical keyboard switch can be broken down into several parts: top cover, switch core, bottom case, spring, and metal shrapnel. Mechanical switches are the key switches of a mechanical keyboard and are the most central component of a mechanical keyboard, determining the feel of a mechanical keyboard. Each part is made of a different material, shape, placement, and orientation, resulting in a different feel, sound, and manufacturing cost. Each mechanical switch is an independent switch, so it is possible to do different keys without affecting each other.

Stabilizer Axis consists of three parts: the stabilizer axis wire, the stabilizer axis shell, and the stabilizer axis core, which comes in two varieties, the PCB stabilizer axis and the steel plate stabilizer axis.

They combine to make the keyboard stable.
